Can you do an escape room more than once? Can you do the same escape room twice? 

If you are unable to complete your game objectives and/or escape before time expires, our game masters will give you two options. They can explain what steps were left and walk you through the rest of the story, or they can leave it a mystery in case you want to try again later. Please note, subsequent attempts at the same game do not qualify for our leaderboard. Most groups choose to be shown the answers to remaining puzzles. 

Do escape rooms let you win? 

Absolutely! Escape rooms are designed to be challenging but not impossible. Just keep your wits about you, and teamwork will set you free!

Do you tip after an escape room? 

Tipping of game masters is still a subject which draws a lot of debate in the industry. In the United States, tipping of game masters is allowed but is less common than in other countries. If you feel like your game master went above and beyond to make your experience special, follow your heart. 

How long are you locked in an escape room? 

Most escape rooms last about 60 minutes, but some may be shorter or longer, depending on the theme and difficulty level.

Yes, ofcourse there is. There may not be washrooms inside the escape room game but the facility will surely have one! If you need to leave one of our games at any time, simply go back the way you came. There is always an unlocked door in case you need to go to the bathroom, or step out for a phone call. The clock will continue to run however. 

Can you take pictures in an escape room?

Usually, photography is a no-no inside the room to keep the secrets and surprises under wraps. However, many escape rooms have designated photo areas outside the room. The Escape Adventures will take photos for you during your game and will assist you in a photo op after the game. It is recommended to focus on the game instead of the pictures.

What happens if you are late to an escape room? 

If you’re late, you might lose some of your playing time or risk forfeiting your reservation. It’s best to arrive a bit early! Our games are scheduled with just enough time between to reset the game for the next group. We do allow for a grace period of 15 minutes. If you have not arrived by 15 minutes after your scheduled game time, we will need to start the timer. If you still want to play, your time will be reduced accordingly. You may also contact us and try to reschedule if neccessary.

Escape Rooms are meant to be challenging. There’s not one trick to every escape room, but a good piece of advise is to not overlook the obvious. Many times, players overlook or ignore simple obvious answers and clues in the room. 

What is the fastest way to solve escape rooms? 

Observe everything, look everywhere, and communicate. You wouldn’t believe the number of times we see people find the answer to something that a team member was looking for, and kept quiet. Escape Rooms are team-oriented and designed to be done cooperatively.
